ESP32 is a series of low-cost, low-power system on a chip microcontrollers with integrated Wi-Fi and dual-mode Bluetooth. The ESP32 series employs a Tensilica Xtensa LX6 microprocessor and includes built-in antenna switches, RF balun, power amplifier, low-noise receive amplifier, filters, and power-management modules. It is a successor to the ESP8266 microcontroller.
There are 5 products.
ESP8266 has powerful on-board processing and storage capabilities that allow it to be integrated with the sensors and other application specific devices through its GPIOs with minimal development up-front and minimal loading during runtime. Its high degree of on-chip integration allows for minimal external circuitry, and the entire solution, including front-end module, is designed to occupy minimal PCB area.
WeMos- D1 R2 WiFi ESP8266 Development Board is programmable via Arduino IDE. This is an ESP8266 based WiFi enabled microprocessor unit on a Arduino-UNO footprint. That means the board looks and works (in most cases) like an UNO. Several shields, sensors and output devices that are manufactured for the Arduino platform will work on the WeMos-D1R2 with the added advantage of builtin WiFi.
The D1 Mini is a WiFi capable ESP8266 based WIFI development board in the form of the common Arduino UNO board format. This board is compatible with the Arduino IDE and with NodeMCU. The D1 Mini also features an on-board switching power supply which allows you to power the board from a power supply up to 12V.
The development board features WiFi-SoC ESP8266 and is made for fast IoT prototyping. It is flashed with the latest firmware version and can be set up and programmed right away with the onboard micro USB connection. With only a few lines of code, the NodeMCU Dev Kit connects to your local network and ready for control by other network members like computers and smartphones.
The ESP32-CAM has a very competitive small-size camera module that can operate independently as a minimum system.
ESP32-CAM can be widely used in various IoT applications. It is suitable for home smart devices, industrial wireless control, wireless monitoring, QR wireless identification, wireless positioning system signals and other IoT applications.
ESP32-CAM is packaged in DIP and can be directly plugged into the backplane for quick production. It provides customers with a highly reliable connection method and is convenient for use in various IoT hardware terminals.
